Toonami Claws Back A Half-Hour of Airtime


You read that right, folks. Toonami’s on the grow! Again!

Earlier today, Toonami announced that they are expanding their programming block by a half an hour. Starting July 29, The block will run from 11:00PM to 3:30AM. The full schedule for the evening includes:

  • 11:00pm: Dragon Ball Super
  • 11:30pm: Dragon Ball Z Kai
  • 12:00am: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders
  • 12:30am: Tokyo Ghoul
  • 1:00am: Hunter X Hunter
  • 1:30am: Lupin the 3rd
  • 2:00am: Naruto Shippuden
  • 2:30am: Ghost in the Shell
  • 3:00am: Attack on Titan Season 2

This marks the first time that the block has expanded since Adult Swim shed a half-hour of programming from it in 2015. In addition to the expanded hours, Adult Swim will start streaming two episodes of Dragon Ball Super at 8:00PM and 8:30PM.
