The site also updated with a key visual, which you can check out below:

Mitsuboshi Colors will hit Japanese TV in January. Japanese TV network AT-X aired a “support program” titled Genius! Colors TV (Tensai! Colors Terebi) that stars the show’s main voice actors. Digital providers NicoNico, AbemaTV, and d Anime Store will offer Genius! Colors TV on their digital platform. A second episode will air on August 10, with a “special broadcast” scheduled for August 13.

Mitsuboshi Colors is based on Katsuwo’s manga of the same name. Tomoyuki Kawamura (Anti-Magic Academy: The 35th Test Platoon, Kamigami no Asobi: Ludere deorum) will direct the project at Silver Link, with Takumi Yokota (Pupipō!) providing character designs. Shogo Yasukawa (Chivalry of a Failed Knight, Terraformars) is in charge of series composition.

The confirmed voice cast includes:

  • Kotoha: Natsumi Hioka
  • Yui: Yūki Takada
  • Sacchan: Marika Kōno

The Mitsuboshi Colors manga launched in the pages of Kadokawa’s Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh in 2014. To date, four compiled volumes have been released, with the most recent hitting stores today.
