Earlier today, an official website opened its doors to announce that Haruto Hino’s Takunomi. (Drinking at Home.) will receive an anime adaptation. The series will air on TBS in 2018.
The site updated with a promo video and visual, as well as the first staff details. You can check the details out below.
The 43-second trailer introduces the show’s main characters, as well as the core concepts surrounding the title.
The series revolves around Michiru Amazuki, a 20-year-old woman who takes up residence in Tokyo for a new job. Her home, a share house for women called “Stella House,” is inhabited by ladies of various ages and professions. While they’re all quite different on the surface, the presence of good food and great booze ensures that everything will turn out alright.

Tomoki Kobayashi (Akame ga KILL!, Seiren) is directing the project at Production IMS, with Shinpei Kobayashi (Castle Town Dandelion) providing character designs. Katsuhiko Takayama (Aldnoah.Zero, Sagrada Reset) is in charge of series composition on the title.

Takunomi. made its début on Shogakukan’s MangaONE app in August 2015. To date, three compiled volumes have been released, with a fourth due to hit retailers on Thursday.
