Gakuen Babysitters Reveals Cast, Crew, and Premiere Season

So, it’s kind of like Listen To Me Girls, I’m Your Father only not?

Earlier today, official details were announced for the upcoming winter 2018 series, Gakuen Babysitters including the cast, crew, and a key visual.

Let’s start with who is going to be putting this 12 episode series together! Producing the animation will be Brain’s Base (Anonymous Noise, Blood Lad, Durarara, Natsume’s Book of Friends) with Suusei Morishita sitting in the director’s chair. Series composition will be handled by Yuuko Kakihara (Chihayafuru 2, Persona 4).

As for who will be bringing the characters to life; that falls on Koutarou Nishiyama (Kzuhito Narita in Haikyu!!) in the lead role of Ryuuichi Kashima with Nozomi Furuki (Ellen in Seven Deadly Sins) playing the younger of the two siblings. Rounding out the primary cast announcements are Yuuichirou Umehara (Eugene in Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans) as Hayato Kamitani and Yuuko Sampei (Boruto in Boruto) as Taka Kamitani.

After their parents are killed in a plane crash, Ryuuichi and his younger brother Kotarou are taken in by the chairwoman, who they never met before, of an elite academy who lost her family in the same plane crash. Ryuuichi becomes the school daycare’s new babysitter.

The manga series that this TV adaptation is based off of has been running in LaLa magazine since 2009. The fourteenth volume was shipped in Japan earlier this year.
