It looks like the Happy Party Train is coming into station on October 7.

Earlier today, the official Love Live! website revealed that Love Live! Sunshine!!‘s second season will hit Japanese TV on October 7. The full schedule is below:

  • Tokyo MX: 10/7/2017 at 22:30 (10/7/2017 at 10:30PM)
  • Sun TV: 10/7/2017 at 22:30 (10/7/2017 at 10:30PM)
  • KBS Kyoto: 10/7/2017 at 22:30 (10/7/2017 at 10:30PM)
  • BS11: 10/7/2017 at 25:30 (10/8/2017 at 1:30AM)
  • TV Aichi: 10/7/2017 at 25:50 (10/8/2017 at 1:50AM)
  • TV Hokkaido: 10/10/2017 at 26:05 (10/11/2017 at 2:05AM)
  • TVQ Kyushu: 10/10/2017 at 26:35 (10/11/2017 at 2:35AM)

A TV special, subtitled We want to shine!!, will air on the Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, and BS11 (plus digital platforms) on September 30. Tokyo MX, Sun TV, and KBS Kyoto will air the special at 22:30 (10:30PM), while BS11 will host it at 23:00 (11:00PM).

The title is the second (and latest) entry in the Love Live! School Idol Project franchise. Kazuo Sakai (Mushi-Uta) directed the first season, which aired in the Summer 2016 broadcast season, at Sunrise. Yūhei Murota and Jukki Hanada both reprised their roles on the project as character designer and series composition, respectively.

Funimation currently holds the domestic rights to Love Live! Sunshine!!‘s first season They describe the show as:

Uranohoshi Girls’ High School, a private school in the seaside neighborhood of Uchiura at Numazu city, Shizuoka prefecture.

A small high school in a corner of Suruga Bay, it is home to nine teens,
