Much like the hype train, nothing stops the gif train for this series.
Earlier today, Funimation revealed their English dub cast for Myriad Colors Phantom World. The series will star the following:
- Haruhiko Ichijo: Micah Solusod
- Mai Kawakami: Amber Lee Connors
- Reina Izumi: Natalie Hoover
- Koito Minase: Jeannie Tirado
- Kurumi Kumamakura: Tia Ballard
- Ruru: Jad Saxton
- Arisu Himeno: Carli Mosier
- Haruhiko’s Mom: Lindsay Seidel
- Haruhiko (child): Apphia Yu
Jerry Jewell was tapped to direct the adaptation.
Funimation will release Myriad Color Phantom World on Blu-Ray and DVD on November 21. A Limited Edition is planned, which will include a set of lenticular (“magic motion”) art cards.
Myriad Colors Phantom World is based on Sōichirō Hatano’s novel of the same name. Tatsuya Ishihara (Clannad, Sound! Euphonium) directed the series at Kyoto Animation, while Kazumi Ikeda (Clannad, Love, Chunibyo, & Other Delusions) handled character designs. Fumihiko Shimo (Air, Clannad) took charge of series composition for the project.
Crunchyroll streamed the show as part of their Winter 2016 simulcast lineup. Funimation describes the show as:
