Gaikotsu Shotenin Honda-san Manga Gets Anime Adaptation


The best and boniest bookstore worker around is getting their own TV series!

Earlier today, the official Monthly Comic Gene website announced that Gaikotsu Shotenin Honda-san (Skeleton Bookstore Worker Honda) will receive an anime adaptation. The announcement will be featured on the wraparound band for the title’s third volume, which hits retailers on September 27.

Honda’s Gaikotsu Shotenin Honda-san manga made its debut in August 2015 on image sharing site Pixiv. The first compiled book hit retailers on March 2016, while book 2 launched in December of the same year.

Online resource Baka-Updates describes the series as:

Honda-san is a skeleton working in a bookstore, and he frequently has to deal with foreigners in the manga section.
