Yesterday, Adult Swim’s Toonami block announced that Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans Season 2 will begin airing on October 10 at 12:30AM. The series will replace Tokyo Ghoul √A, which finishes airing tomorrow.
Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans‘ second season started airing on Japanese TV on October 2.
Tatsuyuki Nagai (anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day, My-HiME) returned direct the season at Sunrise. Michinori Chiba (Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Mobile Suit Gundam AGE) will reprised their role as character designer on the project, while Masaru Yokoyama (Plastic Memories, Arakawa Under the Bridge) scored the soundtrack.
Funimation currently holds the rights to Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. They describe the series as:
