Love Live! Sunshine!! 2nd Season! Gets Third Promo Video


Aqours’ Happy Party Train has one more stop before it rolls into station this week.

Earlier today, the official Love Live! website started streaming a new teaser trailer for Love Live! Sunshine!! 2nd Season!. The minute-long promo offers a quick overview of the series, with character dialogue highlighting the core story beats.

Love Live! Sunshine!! 2nd Season! will hit Japanese TV on October 7. The full schedule is below:

Crunchyroll will stream the show as part of their Fall 2017 simulcast lineup.

Love Live! Sunshine!! 2nd Season! is the sequel to 2016’s Love Live! Sunshine!!. Kazuo Sakai (Mushi-Uta) is directing the series at Sunrise, with Yūhei Murota (Love Live! School Idol Project) providing character designs. Jukki Hanada (Love Live! School Idol ProjectNo Game, No Life) is in charge of series composition for the title.

Crunchyroll describes the series as:

Uranohoshi Girls’ High School, a private school in the seaside neighborhood of Uchiura at Numazu city, Shizuoka prefecture. A small high school in a corner of Suruga Bay, it is home to nine teens, led by second-year student Chika Takami, driven by one seriously big dream: To become the next generation of bright, sparkling “school idols”! As long as we don’t give up, any dream can come true… All we have to do now is keep pushing hard for glory! Now their “School Idol Project” begins to make their dreams come true!
