Funimation Unveils Urahara Dub Cast

Get ready to experience Harujuku in a way that you never have before!

Earlier today, Funimation unveiled their English dub cast for Urahara. The series will star the following:

  • Kotoko: Sara Wiedenheft
  • Rito: Julie Shields
  • Mari: Alexis Tipton
  • Ebifurya: Anthony Bowling
  • Misa: Monica Rial
  • Ebi: Chris Wehkamp

Jeremy Inman is directing the adaptation, which features scripts by Emily Neves. Matt Grounds is working as ADR Engineer, while Adrian Cook serves as Mixing Engineer.

Urahara‘s dub will hit FunimationNow on October 24, at 4:00PM Eastern (1:00PM Pacific).

The series is based on Patrick Macias and Mugi Tanaks’s PARK Harajuku: Crisis Team! webcomic.

Amika Kubo is helming the project at studios Shirogumi and EMT Squared, with Masatsugu Arakawa (Nurse Witch Komugi, Time Stranger Kyoko) taking the role of Chief Director. Mariko Fujita (Galaxy Angel, Rosario + Vampire) is providing character designs for the series, while Natsuko Takahashi (Long Riders!, You’re Under Arrest: Full Throttle) takes charge of series composition.

Funimation describes Urahara as:

Japan’s fashion hotspot, Harajuku, is known for having some unusual visitors—but culture-thieving aliens from outer space? Well that’s just crossing the line! Banding together, three kawaii high school girls aren’t about to let anyone take away the beloved district where PARK, their new pop-up shop, has just opened for business!
