Puppers Play in New “Laid-Back Camp” Visual


So, what’s a pupper? A small doggo. And what’s a doggo? A big ol’ pupper.

Earlier today, the official Laid-Back Camp (YuruCamp, Yurukyan△, Laid-Back Camp Δ) anime website updated with a new key visual. The image features Ena Saitō walking iwth her adorable little pupper.

YuruCamp hits Japanese TV in January. Crunchyroll will stream the series when it airs.

Yoshiaki Kyogoku is directing the project at C-Station, with Mutsumi Sasaki (Dragonar Academy, Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~) providing character designs. Jin Tanaka (Anne-Happy, Go! Princess Precure) is in charge of series composition.

The confirmed voice cast includes:

  • Aoi Inuyama: Aki Toyosaki
  • Rin Shima: Nao Tōyama
  • Ena Saitō: Rie Takahashi
  • Chiaki Ōgaki: Sayuri Hara
  • Nadeshiko Kagamihara: Yumiri Hanamori

Afro’s Yurucamp manga launched in the pages of Manga Time Kirara Forward in 2015. The series currently spans three collected volumes, with the most recent shipping to retailers on February 10. Volume 4 will hit on July 12.

Yen Press announced that they licensed YuruCamp in North America. The company will release the title as Laid-Back Camp.
