“Jeopardy!” Game Show Showcases Manga Category on 11/9/2017

I’ll take “quirky otaku stuff for 500,” Alex.

On November 9, American game show Jeopardy! featured a “Manga” category. The clues for the evening included nods to Sailor Moon, Astro Boy, Speed Racer, Attack on Titan, and Lone Wolf and Cub.

The official Jeopardy! Twitter account uploaded a video to their Twitter account, which you can check out below:

Jeopardy! currently airs on weeknights as a syndicated program. The series was created by TV legend Merv Griffin, and made its debut in 1964. The series is currently produced by Sony Pictures TV, and features host Alex Trebek. The program was ranked #45 on TV Guide‘s list of the top sixty “greatest shows in American history.”

The show features three rounds. In the first two rounds, contestants must buzz in to name the question to a particular clue. The third round, Final Jeopardy! presents a single clue for all three contestants, who must submit their answer in writing.
