Rhythmic Toy World to Perform Yowapeda Season 4 Theme Song

Get ready to rock while you ride into the new season of Yowapeda!

The latest issue of Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine (January 2018) reports that Rhythmic Toy World will perform the opening theme song for Yowamushi Pedal Glory Line. The song, which is titled My Voice (Boku no Koe), will ship as a single on February 14.

Yowamushi Pedal Glory Line will hit Japanese TV in January. The season will kick off with the Inter High competition arc.

The show was previously revealed in July, at the “Le Tour de Yowapeda 2017” fan event. In June, animator Hiroyuki Horiuchi teased that he was working on the season.

The latest entry in the franchise, Yowamushi Pedal New Generation, hit Japanese TV on January 9. The show is a sequel to 2015’s Yowamushi Pedal Grande Road. Series director Osamu Nabeshima (Saint Tail, D.Gray-man) returned to the director’s chair at TMS Entertainment, with Yukiko Ban (.hack//SIGN, Yowamushi Pedal (movie)) providing character designs. Kurasumi Sunayama (Bakuon!!, Minami Kamakura High School Girls Cycling Club) was in charge of series composition.

Crunchyroll streamed the show as it aired. He describes the show as:

With the team’s combined strength, the Sohoku High bicycle racing club beat reigning champions Hakone Academy at the Interhigh national race and achieved an impressive overall victory. Now that their hot summer has ended and third-years Kinjou, Makishima, and Tadokoro have retired from the team, first-year participants in the Interhigh Onoda Sakamichi, Imaizumi Shunsuke, and Naruko Shoukichi, along with their new captain second-year Teshima Junta and vice-captain Aoyagi Hajime begin preparing as a “new team” for their second consecutive championship at the next Interhigh. In order to retake their throne, their rivals Hakone Academy have also incorporated new members and begun training as a new team. Kyoto Fushimi High is lead by the monstrous racer Midousuji Akira. The nation’s top schools are all honing their skills to reach the top of the Interhigh.

New friends, new rivals, and new battles… The curtains are rising on this passionate men’s drama!

A teaser trailer for the show hit earlier this month, which you can check out below:
