This rebellion seems to be growing more impressive by the minute.
News source Moetron reports that a new visual was released for the second film Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion film. The image, which was distributed on a flyer, features the major cast members posing in front of a deep space background. The back of the slip features shots from the film, along with the core staffers attached to the project.
The film will be titled Code Geass – Hangyaku no Lelouch – Handō (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion – The Rebellion Path). The feature will open in 79 theaters across Japan on February 10, 2018. Folks who pre-purchase their tickets will receive a free clear file.
The Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion TV series is an original series from Sunrise and manga supergroup CLAMP. The show originally began airing in the fall 2006 broadcast season, and spanned 26 episodes. Several spinoffs and OVAs, as well as sequel series Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 have been produced since the show’s run.
Goro Taniguchi (Gun x Sword, Planetes) directed the series, while Takahiro Kimura (Dirty Pair Flash, SD Gundam Force) provided character designs. The team of Ichiro Okouchi (Azumanga Daioh, Guilty Crown) and Hiroyuki Yoshino (Accel World, Macross Frontier) took charge of series composition, with Yoshino serving as assistant to Okouchi.
The core cast and crew members returned to reprise their roles for the films.
