Whether you’re a fan of heading to the sweet shop or drinking at home, this event has you covered.
Earlier today, the official Dagashi Kashi and Takunomi. (Drinking at Home) anime websites announced that the two shows will host a joint screening event. The event, which has a 3,000 yen cover fee, will be held at Tokyo’s Shinjuku Baltic 9 cinema on December 27. Doors will open at 6:50PM, with the actual event slated to start at 7:15PM.
The following guests will be attending the show:
- Ayaka Imamura (Takunomi.‘s Michiru Amatsuki)
- Chika Anzai (Takunomi.‘s Nao Kiriyama)
- Ayana Taketatsu (Dagashi Kashi‘s Hotaru Shidare)
- Manami Numakura (Dagashi Kashi‘s Saya Endō)
Folks who make it to the pre-screening will receive a special clear file, which features Hotaru and Michiru, each holding their poison of choice. Hotaru has her ramune, while Michiru has a tall frosty cold one.
Dagashi Kashi 2
Satoshi Kuwabara (Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal, Dr. Pinoko no Mori no Bōken) will direct Dagashi Kashi 2 at Tezuka Productions, with Nana Miura (Young Black Jack) providing character designs. Mayumi Morita is in charge of series composition for the project.
Ayana Taketatsu will perform opening theme song OH MY Sugar Feeling!! Idol group Hachimitsu Rocket will perform closing theme song Okashi na Watashi to Hachimitsu no Kimi (The Candied Me and the Honeyed You).
Seven core cast members were confirmed for the series:
- Hotaru Shidare: Ayana Taketatsu
- Kokonotsu Shikada: Atsushi Abe
- Saya Endō: Manami Numakura
- Tō Endō: Tatsuhisa Suzuki
- Hajime Owari: Chinatsu Akasaki
- Koji Shikada: Keiji Fujiwara
- Koguren: Tomohiko Sugita
Takunomi.
Takunomi. is based on Haruto Hino’s manga of the same name. Tomoki Kobayashi (Akame ga KILL!, Seiren) is directing the project at Production IMS, with Shinpei Kobayashi (Castle Town Dandelion) providing character designs. Katsuhiko Takayama (Aldnoah.Zero, Sagrada Reset) is in charge of series composition on the title.
The confirmed voice cast includes:
- Michiru Amatsuki: Ayaka Imamura
- Nao Kiriyama: Chika Anzai
- Kae Midorikawa: Mikako Komatsu
- Makoto Kiriyama: Maaya Uchida
Both shows will be presented as 15-minute episodes, and will share the same broadcasting block. Dagashi Kashi 2 will lead the lineup. The full broadcast schedule is as follows:
