“Laid-Back Camp” Anime Gets Extended Trailer


Yeah, this is the kind of camp where you just chill, and everything turns out alright.

Earlier today, the official Laid-Back Camp (YuruCamp, Yurukyan△, Laid-Back Camp Δ) anime website updated with a new teaser trailer. The 90-second promo introduces the major characters, and their many (many!) quirks.

Laid-Back Camp hits Japanese TV on January 4.

The full broadcast schedule is as follows:

  • Tokyo MX: 1/4/2018 at 23:30 (1/4/2018 at 11:30PM)
  • Sun TV: 1/4/2018 at 24:30 (1/5/2018 at 12:30AM)

  • BS11: 1/4/2018 at 25:30 (1/5/2018 at 1:30AM)

  • Nico Nico Douga (Digital): 1/5/2018 at 23:00 (1/5/2018 at 11:00PM)

Crunchyroll will stream the series when as airs in Japan.

Yoshiaki Kyogoku is directing the project at C-Station, with Mutsumi Sasaki (Dragonar Academy, Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~) providing character designs. Jin Tanaka (Anne-Happy, Go! Princess Precure) is in charge of series composition.

The confirmed voice cast includes:

  • Aoi Inuyama: Aki Toyosaki
  • Rin Shima: Nao Tōyama
  • Ena Saitō: Rie Takahashi
  • Chiaki Ōgaki: Sayuri Hara
  • Nadeshiko Kagamihara: Yumiri Hanamori
  • Sakura Kagamigahara: Marina Inoue
  • Narrator: Akio Ōtsuka

Afro’s Yurucamp manga launched in the pages of Manga Time Kirara Forward in 2015. The series currently spans three collected volumes, with the most recent shipping to retailers on February 10. Volume 4 will hit on July 12.

Yen Press announced that they licensed YuruCamp in North America. The company will release the title as Laid-Back Camp.
