Get to know the Japanese railway stations in a completely different way.
Yesterday, the official Twitter account for the Station Memories app announced that the app will receive a short-form anime adaptation. The game will receive a trio of three-minute shorts, which will stream on the app’s official YouTube channel. The first episode will go live on December 26.
Seiji Mizushima Concrete Revolutio, Fullmetal Alchemist was tapped as chief director for the project, with Tatsuma Minamikawa (Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry) helming the project at Asahi Production. Kazuyuki Ueda (Hinako Note, Hello!! KINMOZA) will serve as main character designer, while Mai Otsuka (Non Non Biyori, Shakugan no Shana) works as sub character designer. Hirotaka Tanabe is writing the show’s scripts.
Hideyuki Shima will score the soundtrack. In addition to his directorial duties, Minamikawa is credited as a storyboarder and line director.

Station Memories is a smartphone game from Fuji Games and Mobile Factory> The title, which launched in 2014, has players travel to train stations across Japan to collect anthropomorphized female adaptations of prominent stations and rail lines.
The anime adaptation will be set in Akita’s Yokote City, with a focus on Miroku, Mero, and Runa.
