Earlier today, the official Shōjo☆Kageki Revue Starlight website updated with new details on the project’s upcoming anime adaptation. In addition to a summer 2018 premiere window, the site added two trailers and a key visual for the project.

The new visual features Karen and Hikari in-costume, as they gaze into each others’ eyes.

The information was first unveiled at the “Shōjo☆Kageki Revue Starlight -The LIVE- #1” stage show earlier today.

Shōjo☆Kageki Revue Starlight is a multimedia franchise from Bushiroad and Nelke Planning, which was first unveiled in April 2017. At the time, a stage musical and anime TV series were confirmed. Bushiroad launched two manga titles in the franchise in Monthly Bushiroad Magazine’s February 2018 issue.

Tomohiro Furukawa was tapped to direct the anime at Kinema Citrus, with Hiroyuki Saita () providing character designs. Tatsuto Higuchi () is in charge of series composition for the project.
