“Fumikiri Jikan” Manga Gets Anime TV Series in April 2018


Get ready to hit the rails in this slice-of-life series!

Earlier today, an official website and Twitter account opened their doors to announce that Yoshimi Satō’s Fumikiri Jikan (Railroad Crossing Time) will receive an anime TV series. The project is currently on track for an April 2018 première.

The first cast and crew were unveiled, as well as a key visual. We break the details down below:

Key Visual

The visual is a sunset shot of Ai-, as she walks across the train tracks. She’s holding a smartphone, and dressed in a scarf and jacket.

Cast

The series will star the following:

  • Ai: Sayaka Senbongi
  • Tomo: Yui Ogura

Visuals for both characters were also revealed, which you can check out below.

Staff

Yoshio Suzuki (Fighting Beauty Wulong) was tapped to direct Fumikiri Jikan at studio Ekachi Epilka, with Kaori Takamura providing character designs. Misuzu Chiba (Chi’s Sweet Adventure) is in charge of series composition.

Other confirmed crew members include:

  • Art Director: Miyuki Kawashima
  • Color Key Artist: Ayaka Nagano
  • Director of Photography: Keiji Oshima

Yoshimi Satō’s Fumikiri Jikan manga launched in the pages of Futabasha’s Monthly Action magazine in 2016. The series currently spans two volumes, with the most recent hitting stores on May 12, 2017.
