There’s a catch, though… If you win the game, you become the last starfighter! Wait…
Earlier today, the official Starwing Paradox (Hoshi to Tsubasa no Paradox) website announced that the project will include an arcade game.
The game, which is described as a “high speed mecha combat game,” will be developed by Square Enix, with a planned Fall 2018 launch window. The title will support up to sixteen players, allowing for two teams of eight to square off against each other. Sunrise will handle the animated sequences for the title.
Square Enix will début the Starwing Paradox game at JAEPO 2018. The game will be available for play tests at the event, which runs from February 9 – 11 in Chiba’s Makuhari Messe Event Hall.
Several stills of the cabinet and gameplay were released, which you can check out below.
