Get ready to build up a new adventure!

Earlier today, Sunrise launched an official website for a new anime project, titled Gundam Build Divers. The title will be an anime TV series set in the Gundam Build Fighters franchise. The site updated with the core cast and crew members attached, in addition to a key visual and premiere details. The Gundam.info website also updated with a promotional short.

We break the details down below.

Trailer

The 14-minute “prologue” video introduces the world of Gundam Build Divers, while giving an brief overview of the events that will ultimately lead up to the main TV series.

The video is available with English subtitles.

Key Visual

The visual features the show’s four leads far above a futuristic city, each of which is holding their Gunpla. Lead character Riku Mikami, plus his 00 Diver Gunpla are front and center, and closest to the camera.

Staff

Shinya Watada (Gundam Build Fighters Try, Aikatsu Stars!) is directing the project at Sunrise, with Shuri Toida providing character designs. Noboru Kimura (Kokkoku, Nyaruko: Crawling with Love!) is in charge of series composition for the title.

Story

Sunrise describes the series as:

The Gunpla Force Battle Tournament is a major event that’s held each year in GBN. In this year’s final round are Avalon, led by the champion Kyoya Kujo, and the mighty 7th Panzer Division led by the shrewd Rommel.

Beginning with Kyoya’s Gundam AGE II Magnum, a range of Gunpla will take the field to determine which is the most powerful!
