Get ready to say hello to this quirky rom-com.

Earlier this week, the final chapter of Etsuko Mizusawa’s Moshi Moshi, Terumi Desu. (Hello, This is Terumi.) manga ended its run in Shogakukan’s Big Comic Spirits magazine. In addition to the finale, the magazine contains an announcement that the series will receive an anime adaptation.

Mizusawa would later confirm the news on her Livedoor blog.

As of press time, no further details have been revealed. More information will be announced at a later date.

Etsuko Mizusawa’s Moshi Moshi, Terumi Desu. manga began its run in Big Comic Spirits in March 2016. The 90-chapter title currently has one compiled volume, with a second in the works.

The title is billed as a “Telephone Romantic Comedy”, and revolves around a girl named Terumi. Terumi isn’t a typical teenager. She loathes smartphones and the internet, and works in the call center of a shop that deals exclusively with analog phones. Rintarou is a classmate of Terumi’s, who is simply over the moon for her.

To win Terumi’s heart, Rintarou chooses to cast away the creature comforts of modern digital life.
