Lostorage conflated WIXOSS Gets New Visual & Trailer, April 6 Premiere Also


Despite the title, there’s nothing to be conflicted over this series.

Earlier today, the official Lostorage conflated WIXOSS anime website updated with a new visual and trailer, along with new details on the show’s première date.

We break the details down below:

Trailer

The 105-second promo introduces the major characters, while character dialogue drives home the major story beats. Opening theme song “Unlock” by Yuka Iguchi plays as a background track.

Key Visual

The visual takes on a two-tiered approach to its visual style. At the top of the image, each of the LRIGs stands upon a board, cards scattered at their feet. Beneath the LRIGS are the core cast members, each of which is holding a WIXOSS card.

Premiere

Lostorage conflated WIXOSS will hit Japanese TV on April 6. The full broadcast schedule is as follows:

  • Tokyo MX: 4/6/2018 at 24:30 (4/7/2018 at 12:30AM)
  • BS11: : 4/6/2018 at 24:30 (4/7/2018 at 12:30AM)
  • CS TV Asa Channel 1: 4/16/2018 at 23:30 (4/16/2018 at 11:30PM)

Risako Yoshida (The irregular at magic high school The Movie: The Girl Who Summons the Stars, Diabolik Lovers More, Blood) was tapped to direct the show at J.C. Staff, with Takamitsu Satou (Lostorage incited WIXOSS) providing character designs. Michihiro Tsuchiya (PriPara, Major) is in charge of series composition for the title.

Maiko Iuchi will score the show’s soundtrack.

Lostorage Conflated WIXOSS made its début at retailers with OVA Lostorage conflated WIXOSS -missing link-. The video-exclusive episode hit stores on December 14, in a bundle with the “WXSP Gorgeous Set.”

The most recent entry in the anime TV franchise, titled Lostorage Incited Wixoss aired in Fall 2016. The twelve-episode title was directed by Katsushi Sakurabi (A Certain Magical Index, Lunar Legend Tsukihime) at J.C. Staff, with Takamitsu Satou providing character designs. Michihiro Tsuchiya (PriPara, ClassicaLoid) was in charge of seires composition.

Crunchyroll streamed Lostorage Incited Wixoss as the show aired in Japan. They describe the series as:

High school student Homura Suzuko has returned to Ikebukuro, the town where she grew up. But when she gets to school, she finds she has trouble fitting in with the rest of the class. One day, she decides that if she learns to play the card game Wixoss, she might be able to make some friends. She buys a deck set, and when she opens it, the girl on one of the cards begins to move, and speak. “Welcome, Selector.” Selectors must battle for control of the five coins that hold all their memories. If they can retake all the coins, they win, and can leave the game. But if they lose, as a penalty…
