(NSFW) “Sweet Punishment” Anime Gets New Teaser Trailer, Opening Theme


Why am I suddenly compelled to check if my TV’s set to Cinemax?

Earlier today, the official Sweet Punishment (Amai Chōbatsu ~Watashi wa Kanshu Senyō Pet) anime website updated with a new teaser trailer. The 30-second promo confirms opening theme song Sweet Punishment by Rosukey, and uses the piece as a background track.

Sweet Punishment will air on Japanese TV on April 1. The short-form series will be released in two versions. A general “Normal Version” of the show, as well as a “Complete Version” that includes additional explicit content.

The Normal Version will hit Tokyo MX on April 1, at 25:00 (4/2/2018 at 1:00AM JST). The Complete Version, meanwhile, will be released as a streaming exclusive on Anime Zone on April 1, at 24:00 (4/2/2018 at Midnight).

The series is based on Shō Izumi’s manga of the same name. Mitsutaka Noshitani (Skirt no Naka wa Kedamono Deshita) was tapped to direct the project at studio Magic Bus, in addition to taking charge of series composition, storyboarding, and working as technical director. Nanashi (lit. “Nameless”) will provide the show’s character designs.

Sweet Punishment made its début in Suiseisha’s W Comics ZR magazine in 2013. The series spans three collected volumes, with the most recent hitting stores on February 18.
