Yowamushi Pedal Glory Line Cour 2 Gets a New Visual

It’s time for one more look at the glorious mugs on this cycling team.

Earlier today, the official Yowamushi Pedal: Glory Line anime website updated with a new key visual for the show’s second cour. The image features headshots of the major cast members, set as a mosaic.

Yowamushi Pedal: Glory Line returns to Japanese TV on May 28.

Yowamushi Pedal: Glory Line is the fourth season of the fan-favorite Yowamushi Pedal anime franchise. Osamu Nabeshima (Saint Tail, D.Gray-man) returned to the director’s chair at TMS Entertainment, with Yukiko Ban (.hack//SIGN, Yowamushi Pedal (movie)) providing character designs. Kurasumi Sunayama (Bakuon!!, Minami Kamakura High School Girls Cycling Club) is in charge of series composition.

Saeki YouthK will perform opening theme song Dancing. Route85 (“route Hako”), which consists of six cast members, will perform closing theme song Over the Limit.

Crunchyroll is streaming the title as it airs, and describes it as:

Protagonist Onoda Sakamichi’s team, Sohoku High School, won last year’s national tournament, the Inter-High. The upperclassmen who pulled the team have graduated. By inspiring, supporting, and lifting each other up, the new generation of team members won a ticket to the Inter-High and a chance at a repeat championship. Their rivals, Hakone Academy, former champions seeking to reclaim their crown, and Kyoto Fushimi, home to the monstrous racer Midousuji, have gathered at the race, where they’ll clash in a fierce battle for victory! Every racer carries his hopes and dreams in his heart. As sprinters who race along straight lines, climbers who are masters of the mountains, and aces who lead their teams to victory… The “GLORY LINE” is each racer’s finish line of honor and glory, but who will be the first to cross it?!
