When the spyce flow stops, all eyes will turn to Arrakis. (Sorry, not sorry. The title invites Dune references!)
Earlier today, the official Release the Spyce anime website upated with a new teaser trailer. The 50-second teaser features a vocal theme as a background track, and confirms an October premiere.
Release the Spyce is a collaboration between Yuruyuri creator Namori and Yuki Yuna Is a Hero creator Takahiro.
Momo Minamoto
You Satou was tapped to direct the project at Lay-duce, with Satoshi Ishino (Excel Saga, Date A Live) providing character designs. Co-creator Takahiro is in charge of series composition and original planning for the title.
SORASAKI.F is credited with the original work.

Release the Spyce will revolve around Momo Minamoto, a high school girl in the city of Sorasaki. Momo’s very different from most people her age, though. She’s actually an agent for the private intelligence agency Tsukikage, which protects the city and its citizens from harm. Under the careful instruction of her senior Yuki, Momo and her other friends keep the peace.
