How can one proimse what only exists in the heart?

Earlier today, news broke Kaiu Shirai’s The Promised Neverland will receive an anime adaptation. As of press time, no further details have been announced.

On April 20, the domain “neverland-anime” was registered, and an official Twitter account for the series opened its doors.

Kaiu Shirai and illustrator Posuka Demizu’s The Promised Neverland launched in the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump on August 1, 2016. The series currently spans seven volumes, with the most recent hitting stores on April 4.

Viz Media currently holds the rights to the series in North America. They describe the title as:

In THE PROMISED NEVERLAND, Emma, Norman, and Ray are the brightest kids at the Grace Field House orphanage. And under the care of the woman they refer to as “Mom,” all the kids have enjoyed a comfortable life. Good food, clean clothes and the perfect environment to learn—what more could an orphan ask for? One day, though, Emma and Norman uncover the dark truth of the outside world they are forbidden from seeing.
