“Kyōto Teramachi Sanjō no Holmes” Anime Gets 3 New Cast Members


It appears that Kyoto’s starting to get quite lively at this time of year.

Earlier today, the official Kyōto Teramachi Sanjō no Holmes anime website updated with three new cast members. The series will add the following:

  • Akito Kawajira: Ryohei Kimura
  • Ensei: Koji Yusa
  • Rikyu Toshiyama: Sanae Kobayashi

Kyōto Teramachi Sanjō no Holmes hits Japanese TV in July.

Kyoto Teramachi Sanjo no Holmes Key Visual Noriyoshi Sasaki (King’s Game The Animation, My Wife is the Student Council President+!) is directing the title at studio Seven, with Yōsuke Itō (King’s Game The Animation) pulling double duty as character designer and chief animation director. Kenichi Yamashita (Ketsuekigata-kun!, Actually, I Am…) is in charge of series composition.

The series will star the following:

  • Kiyotaka Yagashira: Kaito Ishikawa
  • Aoi Mashiro: Miyu Tomita

Mai Mochizuki and illustrator Yamōchishizu’s Kyōto Teramachi Sanjō no Holmes light novels originally launched under Futabasha’s main imprint in April 2015. Eight books have been published to date, with volume 9 due to hit retailers on March 14.

A manga adaptation by Mochizuki launched in Futabasha’s Monthly Action in December 2017. The first volume will hit retailers on March 12.
