It looks like this quirky apartment is opening just after the fourth!
Earlier today, the official Miss caretaker of Sunohara-sou (Sunohara-sou no Kanrinin-san) anime website updated with a new trailer and a pair of cast members, as well as details on the show’s opening theme song.
We break the details down below:
Trailer
The two-minute trailer opens with a brief exchange between Miss Sunohara and Shino, before breaking into opening theme song Bittersweet Harmony. The promo goes on to introduce the main cast, with samples of their dialogue playing over animation.
Cast
The series will add the following:
- Naito Ichigoai: Juri Nagatsuma
- Maiko Kosonoi: Ai Nakajima

Theme Songs
Megumi Nakajima will perform opening theme song Bittersweet Harmony.
Premiere
Miss caretaker of Sunohara-sou will hit Japanese TV on July 5. The full broadcast schedule is as follows:
- AT-X: 7/5/2018 at 21:00 (7/5/2018 at 9:00PM)
- Tokyo MX: 7/5/2018 at 22:30 (7/5/2018 at 10:30PM)
- BS11: 7/5/2018 at 23:00 (7/5/2018 at 11:00PM)
A screening event will be held on June 18, at the Kanda Myojin shrine. Rina Satou, Eri Kitamura, and director Mirai Minato will attend the event.
A collaboration café event will also be held Tokyo’s Myoujin Cafe from June 30 through July 19.
Mirai Minato (Masamune-kun’s Revenge) will direct the project at Silver Link, with Shin Oonuma (Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya, Baka and Test – Summon the Beasts) serving as chief director. Kazuya Hirata (Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya 3rei!!, Gekijōban Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya: Sekka no Chikai) is providing character designs for the project, while Fumihiko Shimo (Amagi Brilliant Park, New Game!) takes charge of series composition.

Satou and Kitamura are reprising their roles from a previous Drama CD.
Nekoume’s Miss Caretaker of Sunohara-sou launched in the pages of Ichijinsha’s Manga 4-Koma Palette in 2014. The series’ third volume hit retailers on November 22. The second volume, which hit stores in July 2016, included the drama CD that saw Satou and Kitamura’s debut as their characters.
Manga resource Baka-Updates describes the title as:
Shiina Aki is constantly being treated like a girl due to his feminine looks so he decides to move to Tokyo and attend middle school in an attempt to change himself.
However what awaits him in his new home, Sunohara-sou, is the kind-hearted caretaker, Sunohara Ayaka and three female members of Aki’s new middle school’s student council, named Yukimoto Yuzu, Yamanashi Sumire, and Kazami Yuri.
And so begins Aki’s new life of living with four girls in Tokyo.
