The survey corps are making their way back to the Absolution in just a few weeks.
Earlier today, Adult Swim’s Toonami block announced that they will air the third season of Attack on Titan. The series will kick off on August 18, though a specific time has yet to be named.
Attack on Titan‘s third season hits Japanese TV on July 22. Funimation announced that they acquired the rights to the new season last year. Both Funimation and Crunchyroll will stream the title as part of their Summer 2018 lineup.
Tetsuro Araki (Death Note, High School of the Dead, Attack on Titan Season 1) will return as chief director for the project, while Masashi Koizuka reprises his role as director at Wit Studio. Kyoji Asano (Psycho-Pass) is returning as character designer, while Yasuko Kobayashi (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Shakugan no Shana) reprises her duty on series composition.
