The series will hit Japanese TV in October. TBS, BS-TBS, and MBS will air the show as part of their Animeism block. As a reminder, Amazon holds the exclusive streaming rights to all Animeism titles for the forseeable future.

Seiki Takuno (Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches, Love and Lies) was tapped to direct Boarding School Juliet at Liden Films, with Yūki Morimoto (Miss Monochrome) providing character designs. Takao Yoshioka (High School DxD, Your Lie in April) is in charge of series composition for the project.

The confirmed voice cast includes:

  • Romio Inuzuka: Yuuki Ono
  • Juliet Percia: Ai Kayano
  • Hasuki Komai: Ayane Sakura
  • Kochō: Rina Hidaka
  • Chartreux Westia: Yu Shimamura
  • Teria: Yui Ogura

Yōsuke Kaneda’s Boarding School Juliet manga launched in the pages of Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen magazine in 2015. The series currently spans seven compiled volumes, with the most recent shipping to stores on March 16.

Kodansha Comics currently holds the rights to the manga in North America. They describe it as:

At Dahlia Academy, a prestigious boarding school attended by students of two feuding countries—the eastern Nation of Touwa, and the Principality of West—Romio Inuzuka, leader of the dorms’ Touwa first-years, wishes for a romance that can never be. For his ladylove is none other than his arch-enemy, Juliet Persia, leader of the dorms’ West first-years! Is Inuzuka ready to risk it all to confess his feelings? And even if Persia somehow agrees to go out with them, how long can they keep a forbidden relationship under wraps?!
