On September 12, the official Gaikotsu Shotenin Honda-san (Skeleton Bookstore Employee Honda-san) anime website updated with a new trailer and the show’s premiere schedule.

The 102-second promo offers a look into the quirky world of the titular Honda-san, which is populated with gawkers, misfits, and incompetent coworkers. Character dialogue drives the main story beats.


The show will air on October 7. The full broadcast schedule is as follows:

Gaikotsu Shotenin Honda-san Anime Visual NicoNico, dAnime Store, and J:COM On Demand will all offer the title in digital formats.

Gaikotsu Shotenin Honda-san will hit Japanese TV in October. Tokyo MX, BS11, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, and J:COM will all carry the series.

Owl Todoroki will direct Gaikotsu Shotenin Honda-san at studio DLE, with Naoko Kakiki providing character designs. Shin Okashima is in charge of series composition for the project.

Honda’s Gaikotsu Shotenin Honda-san manga made its début in August 2015 on image sharing site Pixiv. The first compiled book hit retailers on March 2016, while book 2 launched in December of the same year. Book 3 hit retailers on September 27, 2017.
