Ulysses: Jeanne d’Arc to Renkin no Kishi Gets New Teaser Trailer


This isn’t alchemy… this isn’t alchemy at all!

Earlier today, the official Ulysses: Jeanne d’Arc to Renkin no Kishi (Ulysses: Jeanne d’Arc and the Alchemy Knights) anime website updated with a new teaser trailer. The 84-second promo previews the performances of the main voice cast, as theme song Liberation by Mai Fuchigami plays as a background track.

Ulysses: Jeanne d’Arc to Renkin no Kishi will hit Japanese TV on October 7. The full broadcast schedule is as follows (All times JST):

  • Sun TV: 10/7/2018 at 23:30 (10/7/2018 at 11:30 PM)

Ulysses: Jeanne d’Arc and the Alchemy Knights Key VisualShin Itagaki (Berserk (2016), Wake Up, Girls! New Chapter) will direct Ulysses: Jeanne d’Arc to Renkin no Kishi at AXsiZ, with Jouji Sawada (Golden Kids) providing character designs. Ryunosuke Kingetsu (Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero, Ninja Nonsense) is in charge of series composition.

Mikage Kasuga’s Ulysses: Jeanne d’Arc to Renkin no Kishi light novel series made its debut under Shueisha’s Dash x Bunko imprint in April 2016. The series features illustrations by Tomari Meron. Three volumes have been released to date, with the most recent hitting stores in April.

Ulysses: Jeanne d’Arc to Renkin no Kishi is set in 15th century France, during the Hundred Years’ War against England. The series revolves around Montmorency, a son of a noble who attends an academy for knights. It’s here that he studies alchemy and magic. When France falls at Agincourt, though, the young man is forced to flee as the school is shut down. As he makes his escape, Montmorency encounters a miraculous young lady known only as “Jeanne.”
