“Ueno-san wa Bukiyō” Anime Gets First Trailer, Visual, Cast, & Crew

So, are we going to ignore the fact that the key visual features an upskirt shot of a pubescent girl?

Earlier today, the official Ueno-san wa Bukiyō (How Clumsy You Are, Miss Ueno) anime website updated with the show’s main cast and crew members, as well as a key visual and trailer.

We break the details down below.

Trailer

The minute-long teaser flashes between shots of Ueno and her classmates, particularly shows Ueno pulling her panties off. The trailer ends with Tanaka staring up Ueno’s lifted skirt, which reveals the vast expanse of the cosmos.

Key Visual

The image features a shot of Miss Ueno, taken from a low angle. The underside of her skirt, which showcases the vast emptiness of the cosmos is clearly visible. Tanaka and Yamashita are both hanging out on objects around her legs.

Staff

Tomohiro Yamanashi (Yurumates3Dei) will direct the series and tackle series composition at studio Lesprit, with Ayano Owada providing character designs. Yasuhiro Misawa (Gabriel DropOut, Hinamatsuri) will score the soundtrack.

The series will air in January 2019. Tokyo MX, BS11, and JCom TV will carry the title as it airs.

tugeneko’s Ueno-san wa Bukiyō launched in the pages of Young Animal in 2015. The series currently spans four compiled volumes, with the latest hit tingstores on May 29. Hakusensha describes the series as:

Ueno-san is a genius inventor, who’s bullish in nature. However, she’s quite bearish in matters of the heart. ♪ It’s a clumsy heroine gag comedy that you have to check out!
