It looks like this will be a truly unique mission for the Scout Regiment.
Earlier today, Crunchyroll announced new details on their ongoing Attack on Titan cross-over event in Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon? Memoria Freese (DanMemo, henceforth). In addition, the publisher released a new trailer and several screenshots. We break the details down below.
The event, which is titled “Attack on Orario”, runs through November 21. Attack on Titan characters, including Eren, Mikasa, and Levi, will appear in the world of DanMemo, as players are tasked with defending Orario from a Titan attack.
The event will feature original voice acting from the DanMachi cast, as well as those of the guest characters from Attack on Titan.
From the event’s launch through November 6, players will be eligible for a free 11-draw Gacha. Players will also be eligible to receive a ★4 Eren Jaeger unit in-game, upon completion of the “Attack on Orario” storyline.
The 50-second teaser sees Eren and Levi trading dialogue, and discussing the eternal question: “Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon?”
Five stills were revealed, which feature Bell and Ais talking with the Attack on Titan crew (including Eren, Mikasa, Sasha, and Connie).
Yes, Sasha talks about potatoes.
Producer Kodai-san commented on the news, stating:
It has been six months since the release of ‘DanMachi Memoria Freese.’ Our biggest thanks go to you, the fans, for your continued support. To commemorate this milestone, we have put together an exciting dream collaboration with ‘Attack on Titan Season 2,’ just for you! You will be able to experience interactions between DanMachi and AoT characters as they battle titans—even the Colossal Titan—together, and you will be able to play through many original in-game events and campaigns. We on the development team dedicated our hearts to create a world that fans of both DanMachi and AoT can appreciate, so we hope all of you active fans, and even dormant fans, will enjoy it!
The North American release of MEMORIA FREESE will feature the spectacular voice talents of Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, Inori Minase, Saori Ōnishi, as well as many others, and all dialogue of the game is voiced just like the Japanese version, with English subtitles provided. GREE has designed, developed, and will maintain both the game and copyright control, while Ellation and the Sumitomo Corporation will handle the distribution, localization, and marketing of the game under Ellation’s Crunchyroll Games brand.
