Kono Oto Tomare! Anime Gets First Key Visual & Cast Members


What’s all that noise, and why would we stop it?

Earlier today, the official Kono Oto Tomare! (Stop This Sound!) anime website updated with the show’s main cast, as well as a new key visual.

We break the details down below.

Cast

The confirmed voice cast includes:

  • Chika Kudō: Yūma Uchida
  • Takezō Kurata: Junya Enoki
  • Satowa Hōzuki: Atsumi Tanezaki

Visuals for the characters were also revealed, which you can check out below.

Kono Oto Tomare! will hit Japanese TV in April 2019.

Kono Oto Tomare Manga Volume Cover 001Kono Oto Tomare! will be directed by Ryōma Mizuno at Platinum Vision, with Junko Yamanaka (Kamisama Kiss, ReLIFE) providing character designs. Ayumu Hisao (Devils’ Line) is in charge of series composition.

Amyū’s Kono Oto Tomare! manga launched in the pages of Shueisha’s Jump SQ magazine in 2012. The ongoing series currently spans seventeen volumes, with Volume 18 shipping to stores on August 3.

Manga resource Baka-Updates describes the title as:

Since the graduation of the senior members of the club, Takezou ends up being the sole member of the “Koto” (traditional Japanese string instrument) club. Now that the new school year has begun, Takezou will have to seek out new members into the club, or the club will become terminated. Out of nowhere, a new member barges into the near-abandoned club room, demanding to join the club. How will Takezou be able to keep his club alive and deal with this rascal of a new member?
