Aniplex of America Announces Record of Grancrest War Dub Cast

Earlier today, Aniplex of America announced the English dub cast for Record of Grancrest War. The series will star the following:

  • Theo Cornaro: Brandon Winckler
  • Siluca Meletes: Jeannie Tirado
  • Lassic David: Imari Williams
  • Villar Constance: Greg Chun
  • Moreno Dortous: Lucien Dodge
  • Milza Kuces: Kaiji Tang
  • Irvin: Alan Lee
  • Aishela: Allegra Clark
  • Margaret Odeus: Lauren Landa
  • Marrine Kreische: Erika Harlacher
  • Alexis Doucet: Aleks Le
  • Priscilla Farnese: Kayli Mills

Chris Cason is directing the dub. Aniplex started streaming an English teaser for the adaptation, which you can check out below.

Record of Grancrest War aired in the Winter 2018 broadcast season.

Record of Grancrest War Anime VisualThe series is based on a light novel series by Record of Lodoss War creator Ryo Mizuno and illustrator Miyuu. Mamoru Hatakeyama (Sankarea: Undying Love, Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East) was tapped to direct the project at A-1 Pictures, with Hiroshi Yakou providing character designs. The team of Ryo Mizuno (Record of Lodoss War) and Shunsaku Yano took charge of series composition.

Aniplex describes Record of Grancrest War as:

A lone mage named Siluca and a vagrant knight named Theo make an oath as master and retainer, with hopes of bringing reform to a land riddled with war and chaos.

Atlatan, a land ruled by chaos. Siluca, a lone mage, and Theo, a vagrant knight continue his journey of training to someday liberate his homeland from tyrannical rule.
