Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team Mobile Game Drafts Real Life Stars for Special Event


Captain TsubasaIn a press release put out this week, KLab announced that they are adding some real-life stars into the Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team virtual football world. In the release, it was revealed that in a special event which is running now until December 28, real-life players SSR Roberto Carlos, SSR Morientes, and SSR Guti will appear as limited edition players in the limited Transfer World Football Legends: Los Galácticos. The game is available now via both the Apple and Google Play stores.

The game itself is a mobile game available around the world (excluding Japan and mainland China) based on the manga Captain Tsubasa from author Youichi Takahashi which first launched in Japan in 1981. Over the decades, the popular sports series has only grown in popularity and has spawned four television anime adaptations and multiple OVAs and movies.
