Studio Nexus Producing “Granbelm” Anime – First Cast, Staff, Trailer Revealed

Earlier today, an official website and Twitter account opened their doors to announce a new original anime project, titled Granbelm. The first trailer and teaser visual, along with the main cast and crew were revealed. We break the details down below.


The 30-second promo flies through line art of the show’s main characters, interspersed with shots of a mysterious realm.

Masaharu Watanabe (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-, Wakaba Girl) will direct the project at studio Nexus, with Re:ZERO light novel author Shinichirou Otsuka providing character designs. Jukki Hanada (Love Live! franchise, Steins;Gate) is writing the scenario for the title.


The confirmed voice cast includes:

  • Mitsuki Kohinata: Miyuri Shimabukuro
  • Fukami Ernesta Shingetsu: Atsumi Tanezaki

Visuals for both characters were also revealed, which you can check out below.

Granbelm will debut in Summer 2019.
