Crunchyroll Adds “Wise Man’s Grandchild” To Spring 2019 Simulcasts


Wise Mans Grandchild VisualEarlier today, Crunchyroll announced that they will stream Wise Man’s Grandchild as part of their Spring 2019 simulcast lineup. The first two episodes were added earlier today. New episodes will be added for subscribers on Wednesdays at 11:30AM Eastern (8:30AM Pacific) for subscribers in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Iceland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and the Netherlands.

Masafumi Tamura (Ange Vierge, Two Car) is directing Wise Man’s Grandchild at Silver Link, with Yuki Sawairi (Masamune-kun’s Revenge, Two Car) providing character designs. Tatsuya Takahashi (And you thought there is never a girl online?, Ms. vampire who lives in my neighborhood) is in charge of series composition for the project.

Crunchyroll describes the title as:

A young man dies in a car accident and is reborn in a magical new world. The old, yet wise Merlin finds the boy, names him Shin, raises him from infancy, and teaches him combat and powerful magic along the way. 15 years later, Shin is ready to travel the globe on his own, but Merlin forgot to teach him something major—common sense!
