Sentai Licenses Utano☆Princesama Maji LOVE Kingdom; Plans Anime Expo 2019 Premiere

Uta no Prince-sama Maji Love Kingdom VisualOn May 18, Sentai Filmworks announced that they acquired the rights to Utano☆Princesama Maji LOVE Kingdom. Sentai will host the film’s United States premiere on July 5, at 1:00PM Pacific at Anime Expo 2019. A limited theatrical run is planned to follow the premiere, though no details have been announced as of press time.

Utano☆Princesama Maji LOVE Kingdom hits Japanese theaters on June 14, 2019.

Takeshi Furuta (The Comic Artist and His Assistants) is returning as chief director, while Tomoka Nagaoka directs at A-1 Pictures, with Maki Fujioka (ItaKiss, La Corda D’Oro – primo passo) providing character designs. Elements Garden is scoring the soundtrack.

The fourth season of Utano☆Princesama aired in the Spring 2016 broadcast season. Sentai Filmworks currently holds the rights to Utano☆Princesama Legend Star. Crunchyroll describes the show as:
