Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki Gets Second Anime Season


Earlier today, the official Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki anime website announced that the series will get a second season. The site includes a new visual, which features the titular Yatogame hoisting a golden statue.

Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki aired in the Spring 2019 broadcast season.

Series creator Hisayoshi Hirasawa (Love is Like a Cocktail, Ojisan to Marshmallow) served as chief director on the project at studio Saetta, with Satsuki Hayasaka providing character designs. Creators In Pack was listed as handling production cooperation.

Crunchyroll streamed the title as part of their simulcast lineup, and describes it as:

After growing up in Tokyo, high school student Jin Kaito moves to Nagoya where he meets Yatogame Monaka, a fellow student who puts her Nagoya dialect on full display. With her cat-like appearance and unvarnished Nagoya dialect, Yatogame won’t open up to him at all. This popular local comedy is increasing the status of Nagoya through observation of the adorable Yatogame-chan!
