A3! Anime Gets Premiere Date & Theme Song Details


Earlier today, the official A3! anime website updated with details on the show’s theme songs and premiere date. We break the details down below.

Theme Songs

Opening theme song Act! Addict! Actors! will be performed by Masayoshi Ōishi, who’s also writing and producing the piece. The song will receive a CD single release on February 5, 2019.

Premiere

A3! Anime VisualA3! will hit Japanese TV on January 13. The preliminary premiere schedule is as follows (All times JST):

  • TOKYO MX: 1/13/2020 at 24:00 (1/14/2019 at Midnight)
  • Sun TV: 1/13/2020 at 24:00 (1/14/2019 at Midnight)
  • KBS Kyoto: 1/13/2020 at 24:00 (1/14/2019 at Midnight)
  • BS11: 1/13/2020 at 24:00 (1/14/2019 at Midnight)

The series will run for two cours, with the first cour being titled “Season Spring & Summer.”

Keisuke Shinohara (Black Fox) will direct the project at P.A. Works and Studio 3Hz, with Mariko Komatsu providing character designs. Naoki Hayashi (Citrus, Black Fox) is in charge of series composition. Infinite is listed as producing.

Liber Entertainment released A3! on iOS and Android in 2017. The game, which sees players managing various male idols, cracked 5.5 million downloads as of July 2018.
