Earlier today, the official Show By Rock!! anime website unveiled a new in-show band, named Dokonjofinger. The group’s cast members were revealed, along with a new teaser visual and trailer.

The band will add the following:
- Yasu: Kent Itō
- Hachin: Shōhei Komatsu
- Joe: Yuuki Ono
- Sojun: Yusuke Shirai

Show By Rock!! Mashumairesh!! will hit Japanese TV on January 9. The confirmed broadcast schedule is as follows (All times JST):
- Tokyo MX: 1/9/2020 at 22:30 (1/9/2020 at 10:30PM)
- BS Fuji: 1/9/2020 at 24:00 (1/10/2020 at Midnight)
Sun TV and Hokkaido Bunka Hōsō will also air the episode, though specific times have yet to be announced. FOD will stream the series after its 22:30 airing.
Seung Hui Son will direct the series at Kinema Citrus, with Nobuyuki Itō (Yuyushiki) providing character designs. Daisuke Tazawa is in charge of series composition.

Show By Rock!! is a multimedia project from Sanrio, which began its life in 2012 as a smartphone game by geechs. The series made its anime début in the Spring 2015 season. Short-form spinoff Show By Rock!! Short!! aired in Summer 2016, while sequel series Show By Rock!!# premiered in October 2016.
Takahiro Ikezoe (Ozma) directed all three anime titles at Bones, with Touko Machida (Chaika – The Coffin Princess, Karneval) taking charge of series composition. Masaru Oshiro provided character designs.
Funimation currently holds the rights to the Show By Rock!! anime. They describe the show as:
