Earlier today, the official Fate/stay night anime franchise’s Twitter account updated with a new trailer for upcoming feature film Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel III. spring song. The minute-long promo opens with a brief conversation of things to come between Shirou and Sakura, before theme song Haru wa Yuku by Aimer kicks in as a background track.

The promo also confirms that the film will open in Japanese theaters on March 28, 2020.

Tomonori Sudou (Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works) is helming the project at ufotable, with Takahiro Miura providing storyboards. Yuki Kajiura (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Madlax) is scoring the films’ soundtracks.

Aniplex of America currently holds the rights to the Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel films, and describe the latest film as:

“The opponent I must fight still remains in this town.”

The Holy Grail War, where Masters and Servants fight to claim the Holy Grail. A new war has started again in Fuyuki City, 10 years after the previous Grail War. However, due to the participation of Zouken Matou, the patriarch of one of the Founding Three Families in the Holy Grail War, things begin distorting, twisting, and growing worse.
