The Herald Anime Club Meeting 133: ID: INVADED Episode 8

Samantha Ferreira: Hi everyone, and welcome to the Herald Anime Club! I’m Samantha, and I’m here with L.B. and Anthony

L.B. Bryant: Hello

Anthony Simpson: Evening

Samantha Ferreira: Tonight, we’re going back in the hole for ID:INVADED Episode 8: “One Detetive, Two Detective, Three Detective… er… Desert.”

And finally, we have an episode that’s basically providing easy slash fodder.

Anthony Simpson: Lots of sand and lots of diving

Samantha Ferreira: Indeed. Also, lots of foreshadowing

L.B. Bryant: And pee. Lots of that too, lol

Samantha Ferreira: Again, slash fodder! :p

But really, this is creating some interesting stuff. Like how they found cognition particles in Momoki’s bedroom, but nowhere else (backing up our idea this was planted), the second in-well dive unit, Momoki’s freakout, Anaido just being the man and Englishing it up wherever he could…

(Also knowing how Quicksand works as his big contribution)

Anthony Simpson: I’m just curious to how far these dives with dives will go.

Samantha Ferreira: I’m curious to see how the trap plays out now. Momoki knows something’s going down now

And I’m all about whatever it is

Anthony Simpson: Same here.  I’m wondering what is going to happen.

Samantha Ferreira: There’s just so much being set up right now, that I really hope they can pull it off

Anthony Simpson: I certainly hope they do.  They have done a good job setting up everything so far.

Samantha Ferreira: They really have. Lots of subtle hints.

The thing I found interesting, though, was when they found that unit.

There was a sequence of numbers on it. The numbers were Narihisago’s account number outside the well world

Anthony Simpson: I wonder why that would be there?

Samantha Ferreira: That’s what I’m wondering, myself.

It’s clear Momoki’s put it together – and it’s tied to that girl he saved from Challenger

With four episodes left, I’m curious as to what’ll happen next. I want to know what the big twist is, here.

Aniwho… any final comments on this week’s episode?

Anthony Simpson: I’m curious to see what the pay off is and if they can stick the landing.
