FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Anime Network Online to Stream “GATE, Collection 2”

HOUSTON, January 19, 2016 – Today, Anime Network announced the triumphant return of GATE, the hit summer 2015 show that took JDSF 1st Lieutenant, Youji Itami, and his team beyond the reaches of our world and deep into the realm of the “Special Region.” Viewers will once again be able to reunite with their favorite characters, including fan-favorite Rory Mercury, the Gothic Lolita clad priestess of the other world. GATE’s story will continue where the last episode ended, with tense negotiations between Japan and the Empire, and the threat of the Fire Dragon looming darkly on the near horizon.

Streaming for the second installment of GATE’s first season is scheduled to begin on February 8th, with episodes released weekly every Monday at 1:30 PM EST in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Latin America, Scandinavia, Netherlands, Middle East, and North Africa.
