Suruga Kanbaru Returns in The Sixth Arc of
the Monogatari Series Second Season!
SANTA MONICA, CA (February 16, 2015) –Aniplex of America announced the details of their HANAMONOGATARI Blu-ray Set release at their industry panel at Katsucon (National Harbor, MD) today. The sixth installment of the popular Monogatari Series Second Season is planned to be released on April 21st , with pre-orders begins today on their official homepage (www.AniplexUSA.com/monogatarisecondseason) and through official retailers for sale in the U.S. and Canada.
The HANAMONOGATARI Blu-ray Set will feature all 5 episodes of the “Suruga Devil” arc on 2 Blu-ray discs. The set will include the original Japanese audio with English subtitles. Bonus contents and materials will feature both the textless opening and ending, the episode 5 with alternate OP/ED, a PV & CM collection, the deluxe booklet, a pin-up postcard set, all encased within the package illustrated by the character designer Akio Watanabe.

One morning, Suruga Kanbaru meets Ougi Oshino, who calls himself a nephew of Meme Oshino.
He tells Suruga about a rumor of “the Lord Devil” that grants any wish. Suruga is worried that the identity of the Lord Devil is none other than herself because she made a wish on “the Monkey’s Paw.” The item was left behind by her mother, and turned Suruga into a Rainy Devil and made her try to kill Koyomi Araragi.
