DVD release of ARIA THE NATURAL, Part 1

For January 7, 2014

 

GRIMES, Iowa, September 11, 2013 – Anime producer and distributor Right Stuf, Inc. and its Nozomi Entertainment division are pleased to announce that  ARIA The NATURAL, Part 1 DVD Collection will be available on January 7, 2014.

This new, value-priced DVD set will feature Japanese audio, English subtitles and on-screen translations. On-disc extras will include ARIA and the World of Sound, interview with Director Junichi Sato, interview with Yui Makino, and cast reflections on ARIA The ANIMATION.

Based on Kozue Amano’s best-selling ARIA manga, the ARIA anime consists of three television seasons –ARIA The ANIMATIONARIA The NATURAL and ARIA The ORIGINATION – plus an OVA (original video animation). The entire anime adaptation features direction by Junichi Sato (Princess TutuSgt. Frog) and animation by Hal Film Maker (Boys Be…Pretear).

Amano’s 12-volume ARIA manga and its two-volume prequel, AQUA, are both published in North America by TOKYOPOP. In Japan, the ARIA manga was originally serialized in MAG Garden’s Comic Blade magazine.
