Samantha Ferreira: Hi everyone, and Happy Sunday! Welcome to the Herald Anime Club. I’m Samantha Ferreira, and I’m here with L.B. Bryant this time around.
L.B. Bryant: Hello!
Samantha Ferreira: Tonight, we’re back to GGO as we talk up Sword Art Online Alternative Gun Gale Online episode 8: “I can’t find your fuckin’ legs!”
Samantha Ferreira: Sorry – couldn’t resist.
L.B. Bryant: hehe
Samantha Ferreira: But yeah… it’s back to the squad jam, where we LLENN and Fuka being amazing in battle and Pito just… getting bored. Like, literally.

L.B. Bryant: Yeah, totally understand why they put those two teams so far apart in the beginning but it still kind of sucks to know that the confrontation that we all want is so far away heh
Samantha Ferreira: Well, we have to get three more episodes somehow!
L.B. Bryant: Regardless, this was a fun episode with some good battle sequences.
Samantha Ferreira: Agreed.
Samantha Ferreira: Some great character building, too
L.B. Bryant: Indeed
Samantha Ferreira: I kind of loved that part with the gymnastics girls
L.B. Bryant: lol where she shouts in a more ladylike fashion?
Samantha Ferreira: Yep! lol
L.B. Bryant: That was hilarious

Samantha Ferreira: I giggled when they started calling her out, I lost it when she actually decided to do it
L.B. Bryant: Yeah, that was a great moment
Samantha Ferreira: It really was.
Samantha Ferreira: That and Fuka’s grenade assault, where LLENN was just a spotter was pretty amazing.
L.B. Bryant: Yeah, I really enjoyed that whole sequence.
Samantha Ferreira: same.
Samantha Ferreira: So far, Fuka’s kind of stolen the show for me. She has such a big personality that she just steals the spotlight

L.B. Bryant: She irritated me just a bit in the beginning of the episode because I felt like she wasn’t taking the SJ seriously but she won me over by the end.
Samantha Ferreira: See, that’s what I loved about her.
Samantha Ferreira: She was so cavalier and careless – like a typical n00b
L.B. Bryant: That’s true
Samantha Ferreira: She literally went and Leeroy Jenkins’d that one encounter where she got her legs blown off with a tripwire
L.B. Bryant: This is true and it only cost her 20% of her health heh
Samantha Ferreira: That’s what amazes me.
L.B. Bryant: What did you think of her legs growing back after her health was replenished? Was that totally fair?
Samantha Ferreira: I thought it was a flat 2 minute penalty
Samantha Ferreira: But yeah… it’s fair in a Battle Royale.

L.B. Bryant: Was it? I couldn’t remember the rules about that.
Samantha Ferreira: Yeah… it was kind of murky, but it was something like “legs regrow after two minutes”
L.B. Bryant: Got it.
Samantha Ferreira: But anyway, we’re getting a bit too far into the weeds here. lol.
L.B. Bryant: I’m really curious how Pito is going to handle the seven teams coming after her and M.
Samantha Ferreira: Brutally and without mercy.
L.B. Bryant: Well naturally.
Samantha Ferreira: That is, IF it works out
Samantha Ferreira: That statement from one team was pretty prescient
L.B. Bryant: Which statement?
Samantha Ferreira: “Would you join in?” “Hell no! I’d play along until I had the upper hand, then execute the leader myself.”

L.B. Bryant: Ah right.
Samantha Ferreira: Yeah… I think this is going to end poorly for the teams once the alliance frays
L.B. Bryant: Yeah more than likely
Samantha Ferreira: Anyway… do you have anything else that you wanted to bring up this week?
L.B. Bryant: Not off the top of my head.
Samantha Ferreira: Alright… well, I guess that’s our meeting. ’til next time, remember… a tiny, quick girl with a combat knife is a dangerous concept.
L.B. Bryant: Laters!
Samantha Ferreira: Have a great night!
